ÅAC Microtec wins a binding order from Space Systems Engineering Ukraine for avionics and power subsystems

ÅAC wins a binding order from Space Systems Engineering Ukraine (SSE) for the supply of avionics and power subsystems for their In-Orbit-Demonstration mission. The binding order is subject to a final agreement aiming to finalize some of the equipment configuration. The order value is approximately 10.3 MSEK and will be delivered in batches from Q3 2018 to Q2 2019.

The subsystems delivered under this order will be used in the development of a new platform that will demonstrate the functionality of an advanced Earth Observation VNIR optical instrument payload. Subject to a successful In-Orbit- Demonstration mission, SSE is aiming to build and launch a constellation based on the same spacecraft design. SSE is aiming to deliver a reliable imagery service from their forthcoming constellation to their customers.

- We are always excited by the prospect of our equipment being designed into new platforms as it brings significant benefits from follow-on orders in future missions based on the same platform. - Max Polyakov adds: The satellite produced by SSE is most likely to be launching by Firefly rocket in Q3 2019.

AAC Clyde Space har vunnit ytterligare en 2,5 MSEK (USD 250 000) order från Loft Orbital på kraftsystem till två satelliter. Systemen ska levereras under 2020, först en utvecklingsmodell under innevarande kvartal som ska följas av flygmodeller till två satelliter under senare hälften av 2020.

AAC Clyde Space har vunnit en order på en 6U-satellit till ett värde av ca 8 MSEK (642 000 GBP) från Orbital Micro Systems (OMS). Satelliten, som skjuts upp inom ramen för det brittiska rymdprogrammet, kommer att ingå i OMS kommersiella GEMS-program som ska leverera korrekt och aktuell väderinformation till företag över hela världen för att öka verksamheternas effektivitet och minimera skador orsakade av extremt väder. Satelliten är planerad att levereras i april 2021.

AAC Clyde Space har valts ut att leverera batterier till månlandaren Nova-C, en mission som leds av amerikanska Intuitive Machines. Genom att utvidga sin ursprungliga order (se pressmeddelande 24 januari 2020) på kraftsystem till att även omfatta batterier kan Intuitive Machines optimera månfarkostens kraftproduktion och lagring på det mest kostnadseffektiva sättet. Värdet på tilläggsordern är ca 7,0 MSEK (730 000 USD).
