ÅAC Microtec wins new grant from the Swedish Space Agency for the development of next- generation data management system

ÅAC Microtec AB ÅAC Microtec AB (publ) received 2 million SEK from the Swedish National Space Board to integrate Cobham Gaisler's powerful LEON3FT processor in the Sirius data management system to enable more advanced missions.

With the addition of Cobham Gaisler's LEON3FT processor to the data management products, ÅAC Microtec will be offering large satellite performance to the Small Satellites market. Cobham Gaisler's LEON3FT has a long and prestigious flight pedigree, enabling designers to have confidence in its performance. ÅAC Microtec's newly launched product line, "Sirius" delivers increased reliability in data management and power systems for the Small Satellites market. The integration of Cobham Gaisler's LEON3FT processor in the Sirius platform extends its functionality and broadens its market potential and market reach.

The avionics leverage AAC's unique design approach with low cost and high reliability.
