Craig Clark and Andrew Strain from Clyde Space join the management group of the new joint company ÅAC Microtec-Clyde Space. Craig Clark assumes a new role as Chief Strategy Officer and Founder while Andrew Strain becomes Chief Technology Officer. Both of them have taken up their new positions upon closure of the acquisition operation.
ÅAC Microtec AB ("ÅAC" or the "Company") has today completed the acquisition of 100 percent of the shares in Clyde Space Limited ("Clyde"), which was announced through a press release on 21 December 2017. The acquisition was paid for with 30 466 326 new shares in AAC and GBP 2 million in cash.
At the extraordinary general meeting in ÅAC Microtec AB ("ÅAC" or the "Company") held on 29 January 2018 the following main resolutions were adopted:

According to the press release on 21st December 2017, ÅAC Microtec AB (publ) ("AAC" or "the Company") has entered an agreement to acquire Clyde Space Limited ("Clyde Space").
The Board of Directors of ÅAC Microtec Group AB ("AAC" or the "Company") has, subject to approval by a general meeting with the shareholders, and as indicated in the press release published on 21st December 2017, resolved to issue 6 535 948 new shares at the price of SEK 7,65 per share. The price was established through a so called "accelerated book-building" procedure led by G&W Capital ("G&W"). The new share issue was directed to a limited number of Swedish professional investors.
AAC Microtec acquires CubeSat leader Clyde Space and creates a global leader in the high-growth market for small satellites and CubeSats.
ÅAC has secured a license agreement with York Space Systems regarding power subsystems to the S-CLASS satellite platform. Total order value over 5 years is approximately 8.6 MSEK and includes engineering, license fee and royalties for York to manufacture the power system.
ÅAC has secured a second order with Airbus Defence and Space in UK to supply power subsystems for the ground testing of the ExoMars rover worth 1.1 MSEK. This is the second of the two orders for this type of equipment with a total order value of 2.2 MSEK.
