Two platform integrators in England and Japan have selected Sirius Onboard Computer (OBC) and Mass Memory (TCM) for integration into new platforms. The spacecraft which will be using the Sirius equipment will be developed for high volume production.

• Sales and marketing efforts placed earlier this year are now beginning to materialize into new orders and constitute an important milestone for becoming a more commercially oriented organisation, says Iraklis Hatziathanasiou, VP Business Development Europe.
• The customer's choice to use ÅAC's Sirius products for the development of new spacecraft is a great endorsement for our product. Main reasons for the choice of Sirius products have been its leading quality, reliability, and customers demanding short delivery time. In the long run, I hope that these initial orders will be followed by major deliveries intended for small constellations in the latter part of 2018, said Mats Thideman, acting CEO and CFO.

These first orders are expected to be delivered in autumn 2017.
