ÅAC Microtec comments on the financial outlook for the third quarter 2017

ÅAC has in recent weeks won important and prestigious orders indicating that the company's transition from a development company into a commercial product company is well underway. ÅAC would like to underscore though that this transition also involves transiting from one revenue model with steady income streams from development projects into the new revenue model primarily based on product sales.

For the third quarter 2017, revenues will not include any significant revenue from product sales and decreasing revenues from development projects. Consequently, revenues for the third quarter will be lower than for the second quarter 2017 when they amounted to 5,0 MSEK.

To achieve its transition, ÅAC will continue focus on gaining product orders from commercial customers. This may result in revenue fluctuations between quarters also in the future.

ÅAC will publish its report for the third quarter on 23 November 2017.

Earlier today, ÅAC announced an order on power subsystems of 1.1 MSEK from Airbus Defense and Space UK. During October and November, ÅAC announced orders from three commercial organizations on our Sirius platform.
